Measure speed and acceleration in an instant with the BeeSpi V. Unlike traditional tape-based velocity measuring experiments that are hard to set up and can be inaccurate, the self-contained BeeSpi V uses advanced light gate technology to instantly measure the speed of an object.
The two built-in parallel light gates detect, measure and display velocities of any objects that pass through, making it ideal for measuring free fall speeds and projectile velocities without the need for length measurements.
Multiple BeeSpi V sensors can be placed at different points on an inclined plane to bring energy transformation calculations to life, and the gap size of 40mm x 30mm is large enough to accomodate standard hot wheels cars.
The simple single button operation makes it easy for students and teachers to take measurements and switch between modes, built-in memory function saves up to 5 latest measurements and the lap time and cumulative lap time settings provide precise measurements for pendulum calculations.
