Each cracker contains a different sized tuned bell along with the standard hat and joke. Once everyone has cracked theirs open (and finished groaning at the jokes) it's time to start playing some tunes.
Pass the numbered badges to each corresponding bell-ringer, hand the included baton to your nominated conductor, and watch your Christmas party deteriorate into chaos as aged relatives attempt to follow little Jimmy's wayward beat.
Following the easy sheet music supplied, the conductor simply points at the player with the corresponding badge number to signal that they should shake their bell. The result: angelic melodies... or helpless laughter!

If there are fewer than 8 people round the table, assign multiple bells to the more experienced percussionists and watch them struggle to remember which one they're supposed to ding when!
Top tip: After Christmas dinner, when you've eaten too much and can't get out of your chair, these bells double as an excellent attention-getter: simply shake while looking hungrily at whoever is nearest to the kettle/biscuit tin/wine bottle.
