Den Making Kit

The opportunity to make dens and hideaways is essential for any Early Years setting.

This Den Making Kit contains a variety of resources to adapt any space into an area for imaginative and cooperative play, encouraging even the youngest children to work as a team, solve problems and develop practical skills through shared experiences

Each kit contains:

• 1 x 1.5m square ground sheet
• 2 x 1.5m square eyeleted den covers in natural heavy duty waxed, tree-print fabric
• 1 x 1.5 x 2.3m large, hemmed den cover with 8 eyelets in a different heavy duty waxed, tree-print fabric
• 1 x 10m high-vis long rope
• 4 x 2m high-vis medium ropes
• 6 x 1m high-vis short ropes
• 6 x wooden ground pegs
• Den building handbook
• 1 x storage bag
