The microscope comprises of a dual LED illumination system which allows this to function either as a compound microscope with the LED light shining from underneath or a dissecting stereo microscope with the LED light shining from the above when observing solid objects.
The microscope is battery powered using 3 x AA Batteries (not included)
Each microscope is approximately 30cm tall, 18cm long, 13cm wide, and weighs 1.1kg.
