This unit combines the functions of a kinderbox with those of shelf storage to create the ultimate book storage solution. To save money on a tight budget or save space in a small classroom, this economical 2-in-1 book browser is an absolute essential.
Design
This 4-sided book browser is designed with 9 bays on top, with underneath storage on all sides of the unit. This underneath storage offers 8 shelves in total – two on each side – and whilst the front and back of the unit use longer shelves, the remaining two sides use short ones. With this generous number of bays and shelves, it is possible to separate books into subject, genre, age range or size for example, for quick and easy navigation. Similarly, the range of shelf widths helps accommodate both small and large book collections, or instead utilise the space for toys, games and ornaments that would be a better fit. As the shelves are adjustable, it is also possible to adapt the unit to your storage needs over time, providing excellent value for money.
The open design of the kinderbox is perfect for showcasing storybooks, educational books with attractive covers, or toys and games that are visually attractive to children. This encourages them to pick up something to read or play with, in turn developing their imagination and creativity. The bottom shelves on the other hand are better suited to encyclopaedias or curriculum books for example, where the visual element is less important.
