Developed with South West London Health and Care Partnership and Health Education England. It is designed to increase the number of young people that seek employment in health and social care by engaging with them face-to-face and digitally. An engaging educational ‘serious’ board game designed for school students to help develop their knowledge of health and social care and the career opportunities they can offer. The game has 2 key educational objectives:
1. Helps students to increase their understanding of the size and complexity of the health and social care systems. More specifically, demonstrates that H&SC can offer a wide range of challenging and interesting jobs.
2. Introduces a core of 52 specific roles that are currently considered ‘hard to fill’ or will require more trained staff in the future.
The game is supported with online resources including an app and a game which help students explore roles within the health and social care sector.
