Introducing the Jupiter JCR-700-Q B♭ student cornet outfit
The Jupiter JCR-700-Q is a high quality student model cornet. It has a 1st valve slide saddle & 3rd valve slide ring and is manufactured using Monel for the pistons along with Derlin valve guides. It is a lovely free blowing instrument with a smooth mellow sound. Perfect, as you would expect, for brass banding as well as occasional playing for the trumpeter.
Beautiful tone
The cornet produces that unique, mellow sound due to the conical bore and more compact measurements. It is a transposing instrument in Bb and is often found in Brass and Wind bands rather than Orchestral or Jazz music, the latter much more suited to clarity and volume of the closely related trumpet.
