First produced over 80 years ago by industry-leading brand Derwent, Lakeland Colouring Pencils are as good now as they always have been. With break resistance, an easy-grip barrel and soft, blendable leads, these colouring pencils combine quality, performance and variety ideal for any classroom. Designed specifically for children, it is no surprise that Lakeland pencils are a school staple.
Quality Performance
Manufactured by leading pencil brand Derwent, you can rest assured Lakeland Colouring Pencils are of the highest quality – both in lifespan and functionality. The soft, thick 3.3mm colour strip sweeps smoothly across the paper for a fast, even lay down of tone, with no nasty surprises that come with poor quality pencils. This helps cover large areas quickly for more general or casual colouring, as does the easy movement and smooth performance of the 7mm cylindrical barrel - ideal for young children who haven’t fully refined their pencil grip and fine motor skills for precise work.
Hardwearing
Despite being soft in texture, the lead is also break-resistant and easy sharpening, which is again ideal in the classroom where children are likely to apply high pressure when colouring in. Artists can also be less reluctant to apply the required pressure when grading, shading or blending – something these pencils are exceptionally good at.
Bright Colours
As blending works particularly well with Lakeland Colouring Pencils, you can create a wide range of additional shades beyond the 12 pencil colours to create whatever you can imagine. The bright, eye-catching colours have been chosen with Primary School children in mind, reflecting the full spectrum that they will encounter in their everyday life, and transferring to paper with strong, impactful effects.
Colours Included:
•Yellow
•Orange
•Red
•Pink
