Use this dragon concertina class pack to begin Chinese New Year celebrations, or to introduce different cultures and mythologies into the classroom.
All the materials in this set are pre-cut, allowing a scissor-free session with virtually no set up. Ideal for a cold or rainy day! The head and tail templates have thick printed black lines to guide the children where to draw or paint. This is especially useful for students who are not comfortable drawing freehand or a livelier group activity where the templates are swapped around.
Simply decorate the head and tail, choose a concertina body and craft sticks to match, and glue together. Add further embellishments such as glitter and feathers to get even more creative. Full instructions are provided. Once made, the children can stage their own play, dragon dance or the puppets can be used in role play stories.
