Originating from the same family as the pBone and the pTrumpet, the pBuzz is an exciting and easy new way to explore brass playing. Now available in a bundle, it provides everything you need for a class of new brass players, helping you encourage a new generation of musicians.
This new 15 piece bundle includes the following:
15 x pBuzz units
15 x Extra Mouthpieces
1 x Storage Box
1 x Cleaning Kit
Through its extendable slide, you can alter the pitch by moving the bell over a range of 6 notes. Each note is marked prominently as a colour, number and notation to further the understanding of pitch and fluctuating length.
This plastic instrument offers a realistic experience of using a proper 'brass' mouthpiece and is easy to play for those who cannot read music.
Step-by-step how to play
BUZZ
Position the mouthpiece in the middle of your lips and then create a small hole with your lips whilst blowing out air. Gradually make the hole smaller as you blow to create a 'buzz'.
SLIDE
The moveable slide allows you to play six different notes: F, G, A, B, Bb, C (or 1-6).
MAKING A NOTE
Slide the bell towards you (make the instrument smaller) to create a high note, or slide it away from you (make the instrument longer) to create a lower note.
Easy maintenance
It is also very easy to keep clean and maintain; you only need to use warm water and traditional slide creams or oils. This no-fuss maintenance style makes these trumpets ideal not only for beginners, but also group classes and school music sessions.
Award winning
The quality of this manufacturers products are recognised across the industry, which has led to these plastic instruments becoming multi-award winners. This pBuzz is the latest instrument in the collection to pick up an award.
pInstruments and the environment
pInstruments are serious about making music fun and accessible for all, but are also conscious and considerate of how their processes can effect the environment.
Working hard to reduce their environmental impact, pInstruments can proudly announce they are completely carbon neutral - but that is not all.
Here is how pInstruments consider the "3 R's" into all of their processes to further reduce their environmental impact -
REDUCE
All instruments are made using ABS plastic, using much less resources than the manufacture of traditional brass instruments.
Every time pInstruments make an instrument out of plastic rather than brass, the amount of carbon is reduced considerably
Since 2010, pInstruments have saved 2,8333,247 kg's of CO2
REUSE
The beauty of ABS, is that any excess materials left over from the process can simply be melted down and re-used!
pInstruments are pretty indestructible, but in the case of a broken instrument, they can provide many replacement parts.
If you have an instrument you are no longer using, why not pass it onto a friend. This reduces waste with the added bonus of sharing and encouraging music with others.
RECYCLE
pInstruments are recyclable under group 7, and can be recycled at certain central locations or by recycling specialists.
