Design
The storage unit contains 6 bays, with the 4 smaller ones supported by the 2 larger ones beneath them. The design allows the unit to remain short enough for children to reach the top without difficulty, empowering them with the responsibility of finding what they need and tidying up when they are done. The use of individual bays also increases stability for the storage of heavier contents, which is especially useful for the larger boxes.
There are 4 x 4L boxes, 2 x 9L boxes and 2 x 35L boxes included. The 4L boxes are stored two to a bay, whereas the others are stored individually. As the small bays are of equal size however, the 4L or 9L boxes can be re-arranged in whichever way is most convenient to the user, or even replaced with other 4L and 9L boxes to more accurately suit your needs. These smaller boxes are better suited to flat or small items such as paper, books and stationery, whereas the 35L boxes on the other hand can be used for large or oddly shaped items – such as games, DVDs, toys, files and science equipment - or simply a high quantity of items.
