The Momentum Extra XP418 is a clever machine that will shred documents with ease. It shreds up to 18 sheets of A4 paper (80gsm) at once, making quick work of personal paperwork or out of date reports. Extra useful for offices, the shredder tackles staples and paper clips without having to remove them first. It also has a separate feed slot for credit cards, CDs and DVD. Producing P-4 level (4 x 35 mm) cross cut pieces, you can be sure that sensitive information has been disposed of securely.
Rexel’s active sensing technology will save time and frustration. Sensors automatically measure how many sheets are being fed and operation is stopped until it is reduced to 18 sheets. A warning LED light signals the overfeed, stopping jams and misfeeds.
The bin pulls out for ease of emptying when full - a less frequent event thanks to its 45 litre capacity.
Other useful features are the simple touch control panel, a quieter operation of 55 dBA and continuous run time. Supplied with 4 castors so it can be wheeled into position.
