Rexel's range of Momentum paper shredders are ideal for destroying documents and sensitive information. The X406 machine shreds up to 6 sheets of A4 paper (80gsm) in one go through the manual feed slot, cutting them into P-4 (4 x 28 mm) cross cut pieces - equating to 400 pieces from a single sheet of A4 paper.
Perfect for home or office use thanks to its compact size and sleek finish. At 3.5 kg, it can be moved around multiple workspaces. Emitting 70 dBA when operating, it is quiet enough to be placed under a desk.
A single slider switch on top of the machine is used for both forward and reverse motions, making it simple to use. The indicator panel has icons which flash in different colours to communicate what process is occurring. For example, a ‘play’ symbol lights blue when shredding. It will sleep for 60 minutes after 3 minutes of continuous running - a handy safety feature that also saves energy.
The head unit lifts off for emptying with its integral moulded handles. Its 15 litre bin holds up to 125 A4 sheets of paperand the bin viewing window allows you to check the shredded paper level quickly, avoiding jamming through over-filling.
