The Roland TD-17KV2 electronic drum kit is part of the acclaimed TD-17 V-Drums series, providing built-in coaching functions and newly developed thin cymbals to give you a highly expressive playing experience at an affordable price.
Due to the stand-mounted 10-inch hi-hat and toms, this kit is ideal for players with smaller homes and apartments, so you can enjoy the drums even if you think your living space is too small.

Features to help you learn
The warm-up menu included with this kit allows you to do a daily exercise routine, helping you with your playing progress, especially if you don't have the time or resources to book one-to-one lessons. The Time Check and Quiet Count in Coach mode can then help improve your sense of time, and with the KD-10 kick pad, you can also learn expressive foot control and pedal techniques so you can continue to build on and improve your playing.
Multitudes of kits to choose from
The TD-17KV2 drum kit features 70 premium preset drum kits, including 20 new kits with custom samples, providing a wide range of different sounds to experiment and play with. You can then further expand your range of kits, sounds and samples by using the Roland Cloud, and you can also import your own samples to match certain songs and styles of your choosing. The updated TD-17 sound module then includes a vast collection of effects, compression/ reverb settings and rich, natural drums sounds so you can expand the capabilities of your playing.

Track drums with ease in your DAW
Recording acoustic drums often needs lots of equipment and expertise, however the TD-17 makes recording easier without the need for a studio. You can connect the module to your computer with a single USB cable and record a stereo audio drum track directly into your DAW. It is also possible to record MIDI through the same USB cable or via the dedicated MIDI output.
