Design
Each table has between 460mm -760mm high worktop, making them ideal for children aged between 3 to adult depending on the size ordered. For optimal comfort, posture, and lumbar support however, it is important to select chairs that suit the appropriate table height. In doing so, not only will children avoid pain and poor posture during long periods of sitting, but your classroom furniture will also comply with BS EN 1729:2016.
These tables are designed with a compact square shape perfect for one pupil, making them a popular option for exams or individual learning in the classroom. In classes where pupils easily distract each other, the square table sees a return to the classic classroom layout of decades gone by, where individual seating made disruption much more difficult to cause. On the other hand, in cases where group learning is required, the lightweight construction of the tables makes them easy to push together, as well as spirally stack for efficient storage. With a classic fully welded square tube frame also incorporated into the design, adjoining tables will fit tightly together to create a tidy, seamless look, whilst remaining durable for a long life even in the most demanding classrooms.

Each of these tables is constructed using 18mm thick MDF with a high-pressure laminate finish. This provides an inexpensive yet durable and smooth surface which makes the table both stylish and functional in a learning environment. This is accompanied by 2mm thick ABS edging tape, again adding the aesthetic whilst simultaneously providing protection against chipping and other accidental damage over time. Although the natural look of MDF and the high impact Duraform PU edges are beneficial, they fail to match the generous variety of vibrant tones that ABS edges offer. There is an edge colour to match every available table top, giving a seamless and more professional look to your furniture whilst protecting the MDF underneath against chipping. You can also replace the ABS tape if any damage does occur, helping your tables look good as new with each school term. Also durable is the 25mm steel square tube frame underneath, which has been fully welded to keep the table intact throughout frequent use, re-arrangement or stacking.
