Introducing the Stentor Student II double bass

The Stentor Student II double bass is made to a high standard and offers good playability. A popular model with an amber-brown varnish, this bass is a step up from the Stentor Student I instrument. It is carved from solid tonewoods with a solid spruce front and maple back and sides and is ideal for student players. This is a solid durable bass with a good tone and full sound and also features full plate brass machine heads for longevity.

The instrument is supplied as an outfit which includes a padded rayon case with accessory pockets along with a good quality wood bow and rosin.

All of our double basses are subjected to a thorough set-up prior to despatch by our experienced on-site string technician. This process involves making sure the bridge is fitted perfectly, tuning it up, applying rosin to the bow and making sure the instrument is playable straight from the case upon arrival.

The Stentor Student II is available in a range of sizes from 1/8 all the way through to 4/4 and is accessible to any age of player.
