Introducing the Stentor Student Standard violin

The Stentor Student Standard is an entry-level outfit for players on a budget. Unlike many other economy level instruments, it features traditional decorative inlaid purfling and is fitted with gold-coloured integral adjusters for simpler tuning

The violin is sculpted from carved solid tonewoods, with inlaid purfling, blackened hardwood pegs and a matching fingerboard. It is fitted with a textured plastic tailpiece with integral adjusters for easy tuning. It offers amazing value and should not be confused with low quality pressed timber instruments that have a short useable life.

Additional features and services

The outfit comes with a well-constructed lightweight hard case with a traditional brown integral cover and a good student wood bow with an ebony frog. Rosin also included.

All our violins are subjected to a thorough set-up prior to despatch by our experienced on-site string technician. This process involves making sure the bridge is fitted perfectly, tuning it up, applying rosin to the wood bow and making sure the instrument is playable straight from the case upon arrival.

The Stentor Student Standard is available in a range of sizes from 1/16 all the way through to 4/4 and is accessible to any age of player.
