Making music together
The Suzuki Music pad is a rather unique, group orientated, musical instrument. Each note is a circle which incorporates a small bellows which in turn plays a reed. Consequently, there are no batteries or any need to plug in which means this is the perfect take anywhere, maintenance free, musical instrument.
A great introduction to pitch
The set of 8 is a full diatonic scale, starting on C and each pad has the note name and its position on the musical stave printed on it. They are brightly coloured and work particularly well when a group of 8 children are each given one note of a tune. You can also combine the diatonic set with the MP-6C chord set to introduce chords and harmony in a fun, colourful way.
Perfect for early years
Whilst specifically designed for early years the pad construction allows up to 80kg of weight to activate so can be good for older children too.
