Both the YM 1430 and the YM 40 marimba have tone bars made of select padauk which offers an ideal balance between tone and price for the budget conscious.
It features a reinforced frame and a unique adjustable height system, perfect for the younger percussionist.
The YM 1430 has wider tone bars than the more student orientated YM40 which gives the instrument a more professionally spaced feel and a much more open and sonourous tone.
All large tuned percussion instruments such as xylophones, marimbas, vibes etc are delivered boxed and require assemble which is not included in the price.
