The Yamaha YPC32 piccolo is a very popular little instrument indeed. The piccolo, as a rule, doesn't tend to be a starter instrument in its own right, more that an advancing flautist wants to expand their skill set - and this is role that the YPC32 fits perfectly.
The instrument is very well made, the body is produced from strong, resilient ABS resin which offers consistency and a good quality of tone. The head joint is nickel plated with silver as are the keys. The latter being nicely regulated and offering good response. It is the ideal instrument for progressing students and offers a unique tone colour to the orchestra!
