Sturdy design
The YTS280 is beautifully produced. It has a sturdy well designed body which offers little resistance, making the instrument very free blowing. The gold lacquer is incredibly well applied which gives a smooth and clean finish.
Low notes on saxophones are some of the more tricky sounds to produce accurately, as the extremities are on any instrument, but this improved keywork helps produce a clean and definite note. They key work itself is ergonomically designed, so that the relevant notes simply appear to fall under the fingers. This model also benefits from an adjustable thumb hook which makes finding the right playing position extremely easy.
